Entertainment Industry Training and Career

Alissa-Mae is a professional singer, dancer, actress, model, and private vocal/runway modeling instructor. She has trained and been involved in the entertainment industry since she was two years old.

At age two, she trained and continued to dance classically for 12 years. She also pursued jazz, tap, and hip hop. At age five, she competed professionally at ShowStoppers with companies such as New World Dance, Pacific Dance, and Santa Clarity Ballet Academy.

At age three, Alissa-Mae was classically trained and pursued her love for performing Broadway, pop, R&B, and jazz. She competed and performed at numerous venues throughout the United States.

At age 11, she co-wrote and recorded her first song “Crushin” and finished her first album at age 12. With the help of Jackie Boyz, Rob, MDL, Gregg Pagani, and Drew Lane, they produced her debut songs "Bootz", “I Just Wanna Dance”, “I Wanna Know”, "Dreams", and “My Generation”, which were released on iTunes, as well as a music video for “LA Girl”.

At 13 years old, she was the youngest member of the girl group "No More Drama (NMD)”, which was managed by Howie Dorough of the Backstreet Boys. In 2010, she left to pursue other group projects and eventually returned to focus on her solo career.

Throughout the years, she has appeared in fashion print, e-commerce, runway shows, national commercials, voiceovers, film, and music videos. She has worked with many brands over the years such as Birksun Backpacks, Gap, Lokai Bracelets, JCPenney, Disney Channel, MyFitKini, Seven Saints Jewelry, Joseph Aloysious Designs, Cleo Clothing, Karablush Clothing, Shreddy, Kidz Bop, and a 2008 Super Bowl Commercial for Old Navy.

Over the course of her career, she was signed to multiple talent agencies including CESD and Brand Models but began focusing more time on obtaining a higher education.

Private Vocal and Runway Modeling Instructor

Since 2017, Alissa has been teaching private vocal lessons to children and adults throughout Southern California to continue her love for singing. In 2019, Lessons.com rated her top 4% of vocal instructors in SoCal.

Since 2019, she has trained models in runway modeling and photoshoot/audition etiquette for AMA Models and their school, Studio 210. In addition to teaching at their school, she recruits models, privately trains them, and creatively directs their beginning photoshoots.

Jobs in Other Industries

In 2017, Alissa was the Director of Fashion/Beauty for an upcoming social media app, in which she served as an “agent” and liaison between celebrities/influencers/brands. Her responsibilities also included social media management, marketing, and PR.

In 2018, she served as the personal assistant to Kelly Gray at Grayse; a high-end fashion company run by one of the most prestigious models and fashion designers in the world. She had the opportunity to work with Marie Gray of St John’s and learned every aspect that goes into running and designing a successful fashion company. Although she was based at the corporate office, she spent a lot of time assisting at photo shoots, trunk shows, and in design, social media marketing/management, inventory, and purchasing.

Her biggest accomplishment within Grayse was running the Miss America 2018 account. She served as a liaison between their company and Grayse, as well as helped dress the contestants for the final competition and Miss America’s first press week.
